I actually participated in a research study that explored similar topics, it was weird, but it paid well

Ive read we fail to see the reward so thats why we lack motivation or avolition.

This is junk unless they are testing in unmedicated population, everyone know that dopamine antagonist are going to effect task persuit strongly.
