Effort-cost decision-making refers to the ability to make decisions based on the trade-off between the effort required to obtain a reward and the perceived value of that reward.

I actually participated in a research study that explored similar topics, it was weird, but it paid well

Ive read we fail to see the reward so thats why we lack motivation or avolition.

This is junk unless they are testing in unmedicated population, everyone know that dopamine antagonist are going to effect task persuit strongly.
