I paddled 8 km in just over two hours this evening. I circled the north end of the lake about 2.5x. The darker it got, the closer I stayed to the lit area along the shore. It’s nice for people to be able to see you if you’re in trouble.
The sun set at 8:24 pm and I came off the lake at 9:35 pm because it was just really dark at that point. I could have easily gotten 11 km if I had been able to get there earlier.
Anyhow, it is 8.2km around the south side of the lake and that’s almost how far I went this evening and I was still in good shape. The entire lake is about 11.8 km so it’s doable for me if the weather permits it on Sunday. Fingers crossed. I want to circumnavigate the entire body of water this weekend.
From the workouts you’ve posted you seem strong dude! I wouldn’t worry about comparing yourself to what people on social media etc are lifting. 90% of them are on steroids lol I’m sure your lifts are above average.
I’m super happy. On the bicep machine today I was able to do 10 reps of 85lbs (38.55 kg).
I started way below that.
It’s not as heavy as it sounds because it’s a machine and not free weights but it’s huge progress for me. I started at 15 lbs (6.80 kg) so it’s a lot of improvement.
I’ve been walking with my mom for 45 minutes every morning. I actually look forward to it. That, babysitting, odd jobs, and day treatment is all I got.
I did pilates gentle form yesterday, today I will walk. I alternate daily between the two I am happy with my routine. Started incorporating pilates since yesterday.
Been doing mostly boxing and jogging recently. I have a little makeshift speed bag setup in my place now that I used. 20 minutes on that and 20 minutes jogging about what I been doing daily. And some other stuff here and there.
