Really what I mean to say is do you think it’s a good company do you think it’s a humanitarian company?
I don’t know enough about their ethics to speculate. Bill gates seems like a fairly solid guy to me but again don’t know all that much about him. Terence Tao Is the interesting part of the article. Guy is the best mathematician on earth and he’s talking about how ai will probably be a very valuable coauthor of scientific papers by 2026. Which is exciting. It seems like the pace of research is going to really accelerate in the next few years. Hopefully that trickles down to us.
