Electrical

I’m experiencing what I would describe as electricity running up my spine and into the back of my head. It overloads my circuits and causes pain, agitation, sensitivity of my hearing and vision and just leaves me feeling fried and belittled.

It feels like it’s going up my spine into my head and blasting out my ears.

There is no anxieties or anything other than fluctuations in frequencies I can suddenly hear and sense.

My back neck and head muscles are burning from this. This has happened in and off for years and usually when I’m making the most progress and getting my life back together.

It does not feel internal. It makes me shrink and become tense and angry like someone is doing it to me and watching and just listening.

Does your doctor know about it? Could it be a drug side effect or perhaps a hallucination? I hear they can involve all the senses…

I’m not taking meds and have been doing fine otherwise except for this.

No it is not an hallucination.

Maybe if you take meds this sensation will go away?

My new doc will not prescribe anything for nerve other an AP or antidepressants. No muscle relaxers or benzos not even sleep meds because I told them I used to smoke weed when I was in highschool. That was 7 years ago

I don’t know what this sensation is, but it sounds serious. If it is not psychological (a hallucination), then perhaps you should see a neurologist to see if there is a problem there? or go to your regular doc to see what they think and refer you appropriately?

I’ve never had any scans done.

All my symptoms started when I was 15. It felt like someone was sticking a teaser to the back of my head this eventually fried my brain in that area. I can sense a physical weakness in that area.

I have what I thought was a current of electricity in my head since 1963. I went to a doctor and got an EEG. The test found it was a hallucination. Now I can disregard it. it doesn’t bother me anymore. Don’t dismiss the idea that it is a hallucination out of hand without a good objective medical or scientific explanation.

My mom has trigeminal neuralgia, and she says it feels like that, but only on one side of her face, and only from time to time. In her case it is caused by a blood vessel pressing up against the trigeminal nerve. She has a constant ringing in only her left ear, and it feels constantly under pressure. You should see a neurologist about it and get an MRI done to look for the cause.

my brain gets fried when I hear voices. I get exhausted… moreover I had such sensations in the head, electricity, tiny needles of sunlight piercing my brain.
