@Montezuma,

How was the rest of your Veterans Day, homie?

We’re the radio shows about something interesting?

Why do people assume things about a person they don’t even know?

Hey amiga!

The rest of it was good for the most part. I tried calling a couple people, they didn’t answer and that made me kinda mad.

But I ended up going to bed around midnight, so I missed Coast to Coast. Last night’s show was about the Beatles though, I’m sure it was good.

How are you doing today?

Doing good!

Went to a small party/BBQ last night, it was fun for me, but my husband noticed that a couple people there were not enjoying talking to me very much.

Whatever, I didn’t think they were all that great either, but my friend really needed the support/help at the party so that’s what counts. Plus, LA people suck, a lot and hate everyone.

Sorry you missed the show, but happy you got some sleep instead.

Oh! And my friend did give me a bunch of clothes from her daughters clothing line and they’re all super tight. Size Large.

I know that designer clothes are smaller than regular ones, but that’s not doing wonders for my self esteem…

Well, I guess some random woman at Goodwill will love some cheap designer clothes that look fabs!

Well that’s good you got out. :+1:

I’m sure there’s some nice folks in LA. That city is just…shall I say ‘different.’ lol.

Awwww sorry those designer threads didn’t fit ya. I’m sure some lucky gal will appreciate them.

Maybe try and befriend someone who is kinda struggling, and give them to her.

Because sometime they pocket the donations and/or put them on E-bay.

Just my thoughts though.

That’s a good idea,

I might put them on freecycle or something,

They’d be perfect for work clothes, some of them are even pretty fancy.

Do you have freecycle in your area?

Its pretty cool.

“Freecycle” Hmmmm

I know we have a community center that offers free clothes.

And we have a lot of your common thrift stores, Goodwill, Salvation Army etc.

I got a lot of furniture to refinish here,

But lots of people use it for regular everyday stuff.

Like clothes, appliances, couches, everything.

Some areas don’t have “freecycle” but most places have a similar program.

I got my boxes for the move on it and I’m just about to put them back on there for someone else,

Boxes are weirdly expensive.

Cool!

Thank you for the link

Yeah we have a homeless shelter that serves a large area. I donate a lot of clothes there, even things like suits and blazers that don’t fit me anymore.

My thoughts are, someone could use it to look good for a job interview, or just to have something nice!

That’s awesome @Montezuma !
It is so kind of you to donate stuff!!

I have decided that I will take olanzapine 10 mg, regardless of any side effects such as weight gain,
and I’ll only quit it if I am cured.

I’ve always meant to read Brave New World, by Huxley.

Keep us posted, please.

You’re always getting cool and interesting books @insidemind.

Naptime is almost over and I didn’t get a nap even though I’m exhausted. Boo

Thank you @Chess24

I recently donated a bunch of coats and jacket, since it’s getting cold here.

Good luck on olanzapine! I know that’s an AP that has significantly helped a lot of people out.

my bf went to bring me my anxiety medication. I can not wait for him to come home, I will take it immediately.
It is only 100 mg though, people take 900-2000 mg a day and the half life is 6 hours.
