Here for a good time, not a long time. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I’ve never understood the term ‘processed’ for food.
What does it mean that food is processed?

I think processed foods just means that they were altered in some way when they were prepared. In meats I think it means mostly using preservative methods on them to keep them fresh.

Processed meat - Wikipedia

" Processed meat is considered to be any meat which has been modified in order either to improve its taste or to extend its shelf life. Methods of meat processing include salting, curing, fermentation, and smoking"

So does Spain have the highest mortality rate for heart disease due to it being the country that eats the most processed meat? (jámon)

I buy organic grass fed beef uncured hot dogs.
Still pretty bad for me but it’s a lot healthier than regular dogs.

Consuming lots of sugar is probably worse than eating meat.
