My first psychiatrist had asked me “you don’t shave because you have no motivation or do you really like your beard?”. Of course I like it, I said. Haha

It helps if you have a partner someone constantly telling you to do those things is motivation.

it’s so so hard to describe to complete lack of motivation and whatnot that comes with sz…everything is like wading in mud
The weeds in my drive way are almost a foot tall. I just can’t find the motivation to get the trimmer out. Lack of motivation sucks.

I am getting sick of having to force myself to do things. Something is going to snap. It certainly did yesterday. I had the police come to my home.
why did the police come to your home?
I can relate. What motivates me is my parents not wondering how I will be taken care of when they die. I have a good job and my own place now. Mission accomplished.

I lost my temper with the mental health services and they sent the police over and I had a capacity assessment and had to see a nurse before they could leave me alone.
