Do your ears ring? I hear static then get a ringing. Or it just rings. Like right now it sounds like the noise when you turn a TV on
Yes I was listening to music on headphones that were way too loud on max volume. The ringing varies in intensity at times. It doesn’t bother me that much now.
Mine is very slight and only lasts for like ten seconds. But it happens a lot. I don’t know if that has to do with schizophrenia or if it’s just that I’m gonna be hard of hearing some day
Maybe you need to your ears cleaned I got mine cleaned at a doctor and the noise was less annoying, also nicotine makes the noise worse.

I’ve read about it just before you posted this. I’ve never had my ears cleaned. I stick to the twisted up toilet paper method. Usually get some wax out. I remember when I was in India there was a guy cleaning ears on the street. He had two really long metal pointy things. It looked so dangerous
I found that it may be related to oxygen and CO2 levels and it can affect your heart and nerves. Since getting my levels better I hear it much less and using a BIPAP at night I sleep better and wake up without so much ear ringing could be related to sleep apnea?? Nerves? Hypotension? It really helped to quit smoking. I am at 3 months now and once I get to a year or more I will feel amazing and hopefully lose another 50 pounds.
