The foam ones help me cope.
Earplugs do nothing for me. Although it does help me recognize the noises are from the inside.
Do you take meds?
This is purely the disease playing tricks on you. It will surely lead to a more refined delusional state and understanding of what is going on. Even if something helps it is most of the time a placebo.
Could mean your (auditory halluicenations) is your brain just perceiving external sound distortedly/misinterpreting
Same thing happens for me, zero sound equal zero voices
I’d just get headphones that bring no noise, go to a very quiet place and do a lot of thinking and meditating about your situation
With not having to hear the voices
I do the same with head phones and dubstep. I use apple cider vinegar as my meds and t sworjs like a charm mom found it on earth clinic.
Earbuds and my old “CREATIVE” MP3 player was good for me.
If things were really bad, I would listen to natural sounds like birds, or any music that is voice free.
However, I do have ear plugs as well that I sometimes use to help me get to sleep.
Of course with me being Mr. MacGyver, my ear plugs are actually just old earbud adapters in which I plugged the center holes each with a tiny screw. Grabbing the ear plug by the head of the tiny short screw, makes it easy to both insert and withdraw the ear plug.
I also converted an old electrical shaver into an automatic paint sprayer. OK…I’m just kidding.
Those are awesome Iike the cool colors.
