Dreams,delusions, and reality

Can be a very confusing area. Just woke up from a dream where the content was very familiar as though I had experienced it before. That got me thinking was the content based in reality or on a delusion. Common sense tells me from the content and some reality testing it’s not based on reality so suggesting the dream was about a delusional experience. However I am wondering whether I have had a false memory about the delusional experience and I’m seeing familiarity of content where in fact there was none.

Feeling a bit confused and puzzled. Not the first time I’ve been in this situation where dreams/reality/and possibly delusions get blurred.

I am happy when I am dreaming. when I was ill I would have these very long detailed journeys looking to understand the idea of time as something to figure out. Or nightmares. Now I just dream happy dreams. I hope you figure out what your dreams mean. I try not to think of them as significant. Better to focus on what’s in the present moment. ?

I’ve been in this boat as well.

Some dreams feel so real that when I wake up I can’t tell.

I hate it when I wake up so confused. It just makes the morning harder.
