My personal opinion, if you don’t mind, is it’s preferable to make it something other than what it is ( picture ) you are drawing from. In the hospital I only drew one picture from life and it was gross. A girl I was friends with tore it out of my notebook and crumbled it up. On YouTube there are videos of art by people who have no training, like me. That art is called “outsider art”. I like it because even if it isn’t great it captures something special. That’s why I feel proud of my drawings, because of my gift to get the essence of something of the invisible!

Great expressive drawing. You inspire me to pick up drawing again, but i lost some of my skills. I have to practice again.
