Dramatic allegory for schizophrenia?

Does anyone know the story of Sisyphus? He spends eternity in Hades rolling a heavy rock to the top of a hill, and every time he gets to the top, the rock rolls back down. So he has to roll it back up, and it falls back down. And he does this forever.

My brother has told me that that’s like me, more than once.

Or like Prometheus. Sentenced by the other gods to spend eternity strapped to a rock and every day vultures come and feast on his intestines.

gotta love those Greeks, such happy stories…

Poor Tantalus… He was made to stand in a pool of water beneath a fruit tree with low branches, with the fruit forever just out of reach and the water forever receding before he could take a drink.

I like Greek Mythology. Hades and Persephone are some of my favorites. (I have to admit, if i were to date, I have a feeling their story is what it would be like, the girl being amazing like Persephone and my head being like Hades)
I also like Zuse and Hara

My sis is all about Isis and Osiris and her very very favorite is Egyptian God is Anubis.

I’m actually half-Greek. The other half is a smorgasbord.

I am familiar with the myth of Sisyphus. It does sound a lot like schizophrenia.
