Currently got calcific tendinitis in my shoulder.
Got a prednisone shot and it didnt help at all. Im thinking maybe i just need to get another one.

Took my dad three shots to help his shoulder. Hopefully next one works.

I’ve got an enlarged heart.
I’m seeing a cardiologist next month.

Is this a death sentence @dougRN?

I would definitely check with your providers. Ethically I cannot start spouting prognoses or treatment options online. But I have seen many people with heart issues get good management with cardiology. So I would definitely check with your providers to see what they say.

My GP thinks it’s from my high blood pressure.
I’m also diabetic, type 2

Left ventricular hypertrophy can happen with high blood pressure. But I would definitely check with your providers. They are probably more experienced than me and I am mostly doing this thread for educational purposes. No diagnosing or treatments plans from me.

I had diabetes and lost 100 pounds and it’s completely gone now. My A1C is now 5.0 without meds! Yay! Before, I needed 2 meds to control it.

Yeah. I also no longer have high lipids, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure. Plus, I used to have tachycardia but not anymore. Yay!

Great to hear. I plan on doing lifestyle modifications to help lower those for me too.
