I have read about people with mental health having certain gaits.
I’m clumsy, uncoordinated, and have horrible balance. I think it’s the meds, aspergers, and schizophrenia. I can’t ride a skateboard. My body has slowed down. I cannot run on medication.
Yes it affect the way i walk. I use to love walking. After every hospitalisation i have to learn to get up and walk again. Its about time i do longer walks again. I have given up since about 5 years ago. A long walk is about 3 to 4 hours. I take some food and drink with me usually. When you want to be a champion you got to fight another round, i read somewhere.
Balance is an issue. Especially if I get up from sitting too quickly.
I walk slower but I don’t think the style of my walk has changed.
