This only makes me feel like I am never going to be happy on antipsychotics…not to be a downer but serotonin is blocked by all antipsychotics I know of. Lumateperone may allow dopamine to come back into the picture but according to this it’s not important for long term happiness.

I still feel like dopamine is important though, someone give some input further on this if you can.

I didn’t know the difference between the two
But I totally understand what your saying
They wonder why I have a flat affect but it’s the meds that does it
It’s like you can either live with positive symptoms and have some kind of joy and happiness or get rid of the symptoms and don’t feel joy and happiness again

A nurse I knew in the psych ward had both chemical structures tattooed on her hand. It was pretty cool.
