Mum says meet the guy but don’t get too involved emotionally. The guys who don’t want to be too involved just looking for one thing in my eyes. It’s not going to be easy for me to not get too involved. If I’m speaking to him everyday I won’t be able to help but develop feelings so what she mean ?
Maybe she’s afraid you’ll get your heart broken?

Maybe your mum is slightly worried she is losing her daughter to a fella. I don’t mean to be mean. What I am trying to say is maybe she fears loneliness if you are spending a lot of time with a boy.
@anon80629714 it is not good to be over dependent on one person.
It is best to have a network, multiple people that you’re close to and can rely on for support.

You must be in UK. Here you wouldn’t want to get too involved. If there is a caring man around, its some sort of abnormal mutation.
