thinking about the people in my life who think they know the truth about everything. religion, politics, you name it. it seems like they have their truth and don’t have ears for my experiences. what if everybody had some level of truth about their life and things aren’t so cut and dry? have you ever ran into someone who discredits your experience? well, i have, and it just makes me more resolute in my own beliefs, and for the most part i keep it to myself, as my truth is none of their business i guess.

There are truths and some people know the truth about some things, but nobody knows everything and therefore no one knows “the whole truth” which means no one can be an authority on the truth. You may have heard the phrase " The arbiter of truth", there is no such thing in my opinion.

Socrates said that new nothing cos he was making discussions from point zero, without bias . He pretended to not know the truth, cos he was making the other person, with his questions, to give birth to a truth

yea when i was really psychotic they discredited the things that happened to me… they listened to me but you could notice they didn’t take you seriously… and i always had to tell again and again, it annoyed me…

This man I knew of constantly wanted to heal me with these strange herbs I’ve never heard of. And told me I had spiritual parasites in me, supposedly he didn’t. This may be his truth but it is not mine. He used to say I am arrogant because of that. It all seems unfair to me.

Hi. I like your post. There are too many people who discredit those who have knowledge and experience. I have been discredited many times and it just goes to show how people just turn their back on you and don’t give you the time of day.

This is a big topic for me. As a child I knew Truth, though I had no knowledge. Now I’ve got an answer for everything and lost my light. I’ve taken my nighttime medicine and will get sleepy in an hour. I don’t believe I’d be sleeping without it.

Hi, I just stopped my anti depression med because it kept me from a grieving process that I need to allow myself to feel my feelings.
I however cannot sleep at night and keep waking up. I have sleep meds but I’m scared I will have problems waking up.
