I hear things with the water running and it’s frustrating. I know it shouldn’t be a big deal but it bothers me. It comes with a sort of spaced out feeling. Does that ever happen to you?

not anymore but used to hear voices in the shower when i was unmedicated. i even heard voices in the sound of me running my hands through my hair a few years ago. everything i heard voices. and cars going by were talking to me too.

Funny you should say that, cos ive had a leaking hot tap for nearly a month, and when the council finally came out he never had any taps.
Its doing my noodle in at night even with the door closed lol. Bloody good job im not on a meter.

I get that with the ventilators on the bus and such. I have to move to another area of the bus when it turns on. It frightens me of voices coming back…

Yeah, its actually a fear of mine.
I learned to mediate with nicotine while water is running so its not as bad and its manageable.

Probably, the fewer distractions the better. I have to turn off the tv often.

Most of the time running water calms me. Now a dripping faucet on the other hand…

Not the sound of running water but I can definitely relate. Repeated sudden sounds (even not loud sounds) can really make me angry. Also any loud sound will make me angry too.
