Don’t worry about it, think like this…“delusions” mean you interpret yourself and the world wrong.
You look at empty space or listen in silence and hear or see things, or interpret the sound of the ceiling fan as talking etc.
So when you go crazy, you might think you’re someone your not, or have thoughts which aren’t “you”, all because of seeing things wrong.
For example: you might go from loving kurt cobain to thinking you are him, or that you are the reincarnation of eddie vedder, or you might find it hard to listen to his music, because…who knows?
That’s not you, the real you is in there, if you love playing cribbage, but you can’t do it anymore, don’t give up! Get on the atypical antipsychotics and when you feel better get out there and play some cribbage with support, if that’s your thing, and just get back in the game.
