I used to when I was younger. I could jog again if my health improves.

I remember there was a threshold. If I weighed more than 87kgs I got big problems with my add muscles after a couple of sessions. I had to lose weight before I could start jogging consistently.

In the beginning once a week was enough. Then I did 2-3 times a week, 30-45 minutes. That kept me in good shape.

When in the day did you jog, morning or night? I’m not much of a jogger, how do you suggest I start?

Trying to jog to lose weight and make my body look better and for my health. I hope I have the motivation to do it.

I didn’t jog early because I was too sedated on the zyprexa. I would usually wait till later. Maybe 4pm at the earliest if memory serves.

If I was starting up I would jog for about 20-30 minutes. Don’t push yourself too hard, and take breaks when your breathing gets too heavy. But don’t go to a complete stop. Alternate between jogging and walking. If you jog far away from your home consider bringing a bottle of water.

Also remember to stretch out for a couple of minutes at the end of the session so you don’t turn into a statue

I jog/run at a 5.0 MPH speed on my treadmill pretty much daily. Ive lost a lot of weight and feel a million times better at 188 pounds than I did at 254 pounds. Start slow, jog for 10 minutes one day, 10:30 the next, then 11, ect.. doesnt hurt to see a doctor before starting an exercise program. Jogging/running makes you live longer.

Jogging or running do not make you live longer and can cause some joint problems later on in life.

LOL…. Are you seriously trying to say that EXERCISE doesnt make you live longer? Its common sense that it does. Exercise strengthens your heart, which helps you live longer. Thanks for the laugh Ducky.. Enjoy your cigarettes :joy::rofl::joy::rofl: @anon70282812

Swimming is really good exercise less strain on the joints. Walking is good too!

Im only commenting from my experiences. Losing weight improves health and quitting smoking of course.

I am also trying to lose weight and cut down on smokes. Hey @TheCanuk i had good news today and im no longer diabetic. I seen the nurse and my levels have been low all year so im so glad to be off metformin!

Ps its good to laugh
