My heart races and I read that it’s from haldol. My np thinks it’s from anxiety. Does your heart race?

The racing heart aswell as sensations across one shoulder which makes it sound like pre heart attack, he is also morbidly obese so you’d have thought that the NHS would be worried but they put it down solely to anxiety in his case

I think I have something similar to tachycardia. Sometimes my heart beats with more intensity, like it was jumping.
My heart will beat a bit more intensely on risperidone.
It doesn’t happen all the time.
It may come from anxiety, but it’s always safe to check with a doctor. I felt some chest pain these months and, after some exams, they showed nothing. My doctor said it was probably from psychological issues (she didn’t say it was from anxiety specifically).
I’ll still do some more exams just to make sure it’s nothing though.
