No, they don’t. They say their OS is not very user friendly.
The alternatives that use windows are asus rog ally, razer edge, lenovo legion go, etc.

I have one. I find it too heavy and bulky. Steamos is ok.
I wanted one for the longest time but never got a chance to purchase it.
Is it worth it ?
i have asus rog ally i got for same price as steamdeck. steam deck is good but ally has higher res screen and refresh rate, more power. more storage, and runs windows. my only problem with it is the battery life is very short when playing at the power level needed for demanding games
I’d like one but I’m waiting for a refreshed model.

About to sell mine actually. It gets no use by me. Stays idle on my desk. I use my nintendo switch more, and i could us the money
