This seems to have been the trick of ridding myself of psychosis. Was on the injection for a couple years and all I thought of was mind control. Just added the pill form and I feel great. All I thought about was mind control for years and now I guess I don’t really think about it. It really isn’t a big deal. I don’t feel like people are watching me.

I get Abilify Maintena injections, and I take low-dose Haldol tablets (2 mg twice a day). The combination works pretty well for me.

Yes. Combination AP therapy works. As I have been saying on this website for years. Especially depot injections in combination with oral AP therapy.

I have a depot of 150ml of palperidone every three weeks and take serequel (spelling) 450 mg at night and 10 mg of vallium. It doesn’t do a great deal for me. The voices are 24/7 and the visual hallucinations are probably worse after the night time medication. It is the only thing though that helps me sleep.

Yes. I get Abilify Maintena, an Abilify 10 mg pill every morning, citalopram 20 mg (1 pill in the morning) and lorazepam 1mg (only if I can’t sleep).

What does your doctor say about voices and hallucinations @Theclayzee. Does he/she say they will eventually go away? How long have you been experiencing that? I heard voices for years it really was exhausting.
I get haldol injections and take haldol pills. I would do full injections but can’t afford it.

No the doctors think it probably won’t go away. I’m exhausted it has been nearly 5 yrs of the constant voices. They can be nice sometimes but mostly not. I find the female voices to be the most intrusive now. It used to be the other way around with the male voices (all narcissistic)being beyond what I could tolerate. It felt like torture… it was torture. Sleep deprivation, unexplainable physical pain and what felt like almost total control of my mind and body. It’s been a hellish time.

I get the monthly Invega Sustenna injection. Went from the highest dose of 234mg to 156mg successfully. Had a little bit of breakthrough symptoms but they all subsided.
I also take Wellbutrin 150mg every morning which has stabilized my mood and has given back my motivation.
I also take Benadryl for sleep every night - 50mg.

I was on Invega Sustenna for over 6 months at 156 mg combined with 10 mg of Abilify. This worked fine at controlling positive symptoms so I decided to switch to oral Invega and it has been working fine as well.
