Does anyone else have to have music to drive?

I find that I can’t keep my concentration on the road unless I have some kind of music on and it’s gotta be stuff that I like or I can’t even drive through a small town without losing my concentration… I have a 5 hour drive one way in two weeks as of tomorrow (Tuesday) and my husband can’t drive city and besides it’s appointment with his doctor so I got a LONG drive ahead of me (10 hours in all) I’m gonna be ready for bed by the time I get home lol as always.

If you enjoy classic rock anything by AC/DC should help you stay awake.

@Montezuma ah you and my husband would get along lol although his favorite band is the Beatles. I can listen to almost anything and be happy… It mostly depends on my mood really… My mom lets us take her car there and back (it’s newer and bigger than ours and a lot more comfortable) and I always hook my phone up to it through Bluetooth and we have to look up gps through the car but neither of those are a big deal

I drive just fine without music, but I prefer good music when on the road.

I’ve always got a radio going if I’m in the car. Usually music but also sport is good for driving.
