I just got a bad episode for like six hours. Voices making me self conscious. I feel a little different on how I’m handling adversity. Feel tougher now. And just more experienced with handling suffering with tough situations.

Yeah it can. It can just as likely really kick you in the Ass!
I relate it to surfing. You ride out those bad times and you enjoy those good times. Not every wave is the same and every approach is different but when you get it right it’s amazing how good it can be! ( Ps. I’ve never been a surfer but it’s a metaphor! haha).
You go through enough stuff and you learn from it. I still get positives now and then but they aren’t a worry these days for me…i’ve better strategies for dealing with it and I get by!

The harassments surely make you grow a thick skin 
From a functioning perspective, I think it makes me stronger. In a sense that lifting up this illness will make me unstoppable
Meanwhile, looking from the side I seem to function as a weak willed person

I think it can definitely help with dealing with negativity. And also just dealing with strange situations.

When I don’t suffer from prominent symptoms, I am strong willed, motivated, consistent in my behaviors/performances and resilient. With the illness these qualities are distorted and diminished to the point where I feel un-strong all the time.

Care less about things? Yeah, but that’s a good thing.

Sometimes , it makes you stronger because we have lived so much, voices, anxiety, depression, stress, nightmares, persecution delirium, paranoia e.t.c , so we learned not to make a big deal when “hard” situations comes in
I think our illness makes us a very good “advicers” for “normies” xD

I would argue SZ made majority people weaker. Not to mention most of us have weak willpower to begin with. Which is how the hallucinations and delusions easily affect schizophrenics and not the normal person.
