I watched Independent Lens tonight on PBS and a documentary was featured called “I Am Another You”.
A film maker meets a young homeless man, Dylan, and lives with him on the street, while filming the experience.
Although it is not evident earlier in the documentary, about two thirds of the way through the film, Dylan describes his experiences with hallucinations and hearing voices.
—“I Am Another You” is a remarkably sensitive and lovely portrait of an individual, a family, and a life that shines an uncommonly humane light on the issues of mental illness and homelessness. — LA Times review
