My Family Doctor put me on predisone and I have an allergic reaction to it my whole body is itchy and mainly my right leg and shoulder area I have been itching like crazy I took a benadryl thinking it would help counteract the reaction Im having but it hasnt helped I should finish the perdisone I dont want to but if I stop right away may have more serious reaction to it and My dr knew I was allergic to it yet prescribed it for me anyways I dont get that and my lips are numb since taking it may send him a message through mychart and see what I should do or what he wants me to do

Steroids have given me psychological side effects too since falling into psychosis easily.

just sent my Family Doctor a message but since its Sunday probably won’t hear back until tomorrow or the next day

Can you call an after hours number?
no I don’t think I can usually they have a doctor on demand call number but I didn’t see one

Try calling your drs regular office number. Sometimes the message will give you a phone number to call if it’s urgent or an answering service will answer

just sent my doctor a message who was out of the office and another Dr replied and told me to immediately stop the prednisone which I did
