It may feel like it at times but I don’t think so.

war. famine, diseases
misplaced people
food shortages
people will fight for land, property, life and i think canabalism will return along with total collapse of society and if you want to know what that looks like - think Syria

Yes but world is at quite critical dilemma both social and economic way.i m thinking because i see to lot of economic failure at everywhere.and there lot of tension between most biggest empires that human history seen.this make me think of ww3.i m not thinking all the time but this subject is also just too big to ignore.
It’ll happen without our consent, no one wants to go to war but our world power overlords can make it happen at the press of a button. I hope it’s not imminent and it’s delayed by another 1-2 hundred years or hopefully never happens.

Fiat bubble’s going to pop eventually, but whether it leads to war or not is not a guarantee. Usually, financial crises are resolved with war, sadly. War is good for the economy!
I don’t think a world war would last now that we have the internet. The atrocities would be on display for everybody to see, and public opinion on the war would react to that fact. It’s not like it was in the pre-internet days of WW2 where propaganda worked and blind loyalty to your government’s military was the standard.

I think we’ve either past it, or are currently in the 3rd world war.
I believe it is the 2nd Cold War and it is silent, relying more on technology and social media as its weapons.

The Great Powers don’t want to go to war against each other anymore because of the massive damage to infrastructure. If missiles destroy big cities like Beijing, Seoul, Tokyo, New York, LA, it would cause massive amounts of financial chaos. Even without nukes, there is mutually assured destruction in the event of a war like the United States and NATO vs Russia and China.
Not to mention, the populations of Western countries would probably not have the morale for a long-term war against a major power.
That’s why you see military actions against smaller countries, not outright violence between the big power blocks. They seek to undermine each other financially through economic warfare, and through surveillance and other forms of government and corporate espionage.

Honestly, if China Russia or USA starts WW3, it’s would only because their leaders are fools… at this day and age, there is no reason to start a war… united in understanding the world is.

No. Modern economics is winning. World War costs money and you move all your industry for war tools. That economic model from ww2 just isn’t viable these days. What will probably save us is the unquentionable desire of billionaires to rape the planet and profit. War is expensive and you’ll likely see local actions like the middle east. World War is just so expensive…
If we go we’ll go quick. It’ll be nukes and then the world rebuilds without us so no use worrying about!

It is no more closer or further away than it ever was. Many of the conflicts going on today are as old as the hills. To me the biggest danger to the extent there is one is the the lessons of Hiroshima and Nagasaki being lost. It’s not any conflict that currently exists.
