@Chess24 Schizophrenia can be completely cured if the diagnosis is made early(within 6 months of time), all the symptoms are positive and if the drug suits you perfectly. Courtesy modern medicines. In other cases sometimes it can be made completely normal but the patient may have to take medicines for the rest of his life. For a total functional cure of Schizophrenia we may have to wait for another 50 years for the research to bear fruit.

More likely he was trying to be interesting and different, talking about mental illness cause it made him sound unorthodox and worth paying attention to
the cure for this disease already exists, it lies in having better prognostic factors since the beginning of the illness
for many there is suffering but they still have the ability to do some things
others are ignorant and basically lead lives devoid of any real meaning, overdrugged and submissive to the clinics and the tablets
don’t for one minute believe that a tablet is going to come out which will just sweep away the illness anytime soon
the human brain is almost infinitely complex, the most we understand about it is basic at best, and i do not believe we will see any serious improvements even within the next 50 years
