Do you think people symptom shop here?

I think it’s hard to fake psychosis. Especially if you’re being brought to a psychiatric hospital.

I hated being there and can’t understand why anyone would want to be there.

My personal opinion is that 95% of people don’t fake mental illness and the 5% who do also have a mental illness but a different one.

True.

Munchausen’s is a mental illness.

I got sensory hallucinations from this forum. I do experience them. I just didn’t have the terminology to describe what they were.

Yes, this is absolutely true.

I learned a ton of terminology from this forum.

Its much easier to communicate your issues when you know the correct word for them.

People are weird. Doubt they take APs because those meds are not fun to be on.

I wonder if AI can develop schizophrenia?

This is exactly what I was gonna say you took the words out of my mouth except for one thing I’ve had a lot of diagnosis i basically don’t know if I have bipolar with psychosis or sza most of my therapist say I have a “thought and a mood disorder” however idk who’s right but I sure as heck aint faking and would absolutely love to be a fake but I don’t pretend to have symptoms

I’m about to probably break a rule but keep in mind this is me trying to be honest why wouldn’t they fake adhd or something that’s a controlled substance like opioids or Xanax it makes zero sense unless you wanna try to get a lighter prison sentence

I’m just saying it’s stupid to fake psychosis when there’s nothing that they will give you to give you a pleasureable “high” I’m sorry but somebody had to say it

Being on these meds is miserable, I would never take them if I wasn’t in danger. Idk why would someone take them if they have no symptoms. Also its miserable and ashaming talking about sz or mental illness, its not cool. I feel like I give people a bad impression of me when talking about my symptoms

APs do the opposite of a high, they even block the natural high from dopamine by blocking it

Yeah it’s best to take there word because it’s a slippery slope I was even accused by a therapist of faking in my early teens so keep in mind your probably wrong I’m now waiting for a therapist who specializes in psychosis I’ve never had any problems with any of them except for one who told my uncle about my illness
