Does anyone remember learning to read? And did you learn before school started?

Learning to read is one of my fondest childhood memories. My dad would come home from work on his lunch break just so I could practice reading with him. I was three years old and was learning to read at the same time as my 5 year old big sis.

I remember the whole dog run run run and Sally sweep sweep sweeps stuff. My first grade teacher was such a sweetie.

I learned how to read before school, but I don’t remember learning.

I do remember learning to read at a young age. I think I was about 2 years old.

Can’t remember when I learnt to read but can remember learning to count, addition, subtraction and multiplication. Man I was so stoked when I learnt my 12 times tables.
