Do you like to Study and Learn?

I have studied Philosophy some and different religions. It is really dangerous and can cause you great pain. I don’t know if I want to know more. Are intellectuals bored with everyday things and prideful? I love to learn but what do I gain from reading, I have nothing to show for it, I can learn a trade or a musical instrument or how to draw and many other things. Can my thought system find a completion? Do I even need to read fiction? it increases intellect too! and I was born with a stupendous imagination.

I mean it’s defiantly hard and no well never consume all the knowledge In the world and know everything. … no more than we can drink all the water in the world. But knowledge helps us become wise which helps us order our lives rightly. And how can we be righteous without knowing how to be righteous. Learning aids in or thinking which helps us day to day.

I’m taking a Nutrition class right now, aka Biology my first class in more than a year. I am doing better now than I was then, I have my second test of term today over fats, carbohydrates, proteins, and alcohol. I’ve been able to stay positive and my fears about not fitting in at school are gone. I started making friends at school. But it’s almost time to register again for next term, I won’t know if I’m ready for harder classes until I get the results of this exam.

I believe you have to be genuinely interested in something so that learning and knowledge retention are acquired with ease.

Like I tried learning several instruments but they never clicked with me so I finally picked up the banjo and now I have a hard time putting it down.

I also like philosophy but once I got to Nietzsche I lost my whole attention span.

Yes I love it, but I love to skip the hard yards as well. Glad I got a little knowledge to learn and study from year 12. For example when you want to study chemistry you need to know the periodic table by heart, what I mean with the hard yards. That why we have certifications to proof they done the hard yards, I guess. I am QBE sz, qualified by experience. I spent 2 years of my life as sz in psychiatric hospitals. Qualified nuts. I want a payrise.

I can’t read books since I got sz. But on Abilify, I was able to do audiobooks.

I just love to read and study even though my memory is terrible due to sza and and I can’t recall most everything.

For instance I read books and magazines voraciously. And I study piano and Spanish

I guess if I worked so hard to be able to read despite SZA I should continue. Maybe we never stop learning about ourselves. I read very slowly and patiently, from the start never skipping parts to hold onto the delicate thread, I read from the heart, with my Imagination. Maybe it’s mystical, definitely intimate. I’ve had sex with a lot of famous writers, lol.

I like to read about quite a wide range of things, but have not done any highly focussed, academic level, studying since early 1976.
