The Baptist church is reaching out to consumers where I live. They are starting a basement day centre in December and offering a few workshops. Sounds interesting.
Sounds nice. I hope they aren’t trying to get consumers to eventually get jobs…even though I know some on here do work, I can’t work and wouldn’t want someone trying to get me to work.
Baptists huh?
I’ve known a handful. But hey as long as I don’t have to accept the divinity of jesus in order to be saved and as long as yes I am not being pushed back into “the outside world” in a way that has long felt like slamming my head against a wall.
how do you get to the bigger selection of emoticons by the way?
I considered myself a baptist for years. Generally they are laid back, just watch out for the loud ones.
My parents are baptist
There is a baptist church in my village. They sometimes have movie nights. Might go.
I knew one, from a family of iconoclastic baptists. She was the most put together person I’ve ever known.
Hey, baked beans do you think you would fare well among church people?
I’d be afraid they’d want to trap me into Christianity. Maybe not. But I have my doubts. Religion is one of my few objects of paranoia.
But that’s me. I don’t want to scare you away from something you might be interested in trying.
Just John. We were never really close though.
The workshop series they are having is called Boundaries.
Looks interesting enough - something to challenge your mind.
You must go w-a-a-a-y back.
I was born two hundred years before they invented water!
