Did you improved in any specific area? My goals are all vanished
My positive symptoms improved(actually vanished), so that’s something.
But it’s not a skill. It’s recovery from meds
Oh, ok. I didn’t know you were asking for a skill.
Hmmm…I actually can’t think of a skill I have improved recently. Sorry.
I’m always getting better at fiction writing, and art.
I have evolved a lot as a songwriter as well as my work in the studio improving the last several years. It takes effort, and persistence
I bit someone on the knee last month.
Hope I can jump higher and bite a thigh next month!
I constantly get worse and worse with everything I do
Not weight loss Zanah. You are still the queen of weight loss!
Thanks @Bowens 1515
I think I have improved with perseverance. I have more experience with suffering now.
I’ve made massive improvements over the last year. After switching various meds and landing on the right ones…
- My triglyceride levels are normal
- My cholesterol levels are normal
- My liver enzymes are normal
- My blood sugar levels are at pre-diabetic levels now
- I’ve lost over 75lbs and hit my BMI weight
- I got a real job after not working for about 17/18 years
My only real problem now is insomnia, but I am dealing with that with clonazepam and so far so good.
My DP/DR went away. It felt unreal 24/7 with panic attacks, but I also lost motivation to study and read and learn mathematics and programming, I guess.
Congratulations @Headspark
Especially for hitting your healthy bmi. That’s super challenging for us folk.
Thanks @Zoe
I was overweight for over a decade, so it was a long struggle, but I think I am good now… as long as my current meds continue to work and I don’t have to go on something else that will make me fat again.
I think you are 40 if I remember right?
Usually with age people let go of their weight as it gets more difficult so I’m proud of your achievement.
Ps I’m not saying your old, just older than me.
I’m 43, but everyone tells me I look like I am in my 20s. Before the pandemic I was at the store buying a sweater and the sales clerk thought I was 21. When I was in the hospital a few years ago another patient thought I was 27. No one believes me when I tell them I am in my 40’s. But I do have a few grey hairs creeping in, but only a few! lol
Before being on meds I was always thin, I have a very high metabolism. Once I quit olanzapine my natural metabolism came back and the weight just melted away.
Thanks!
lol, no worries!
