One positive about myself you just made me realize is that
I keep my side of the street on the clean side

and tidy it wherever I can…

The phrase comes up in AA and I think Taylor Swift has it in one of her hit songs…!

Yes, I was harassed by my x-gf and her friends. She did other things as well which made me depressed. I wish that she suffers as I have suffered. She was a ■■■■■.

Once there is betrayal, it’s over.

Grudges and hate keep you from being burned again.

Its a protection.

It would be unhealthy if you forgave and forgot and went back for more abuse.

I try not to hold grudges. They seem to hurt me more than the person I’m grudging on.

Not worth it.

I try not to. It doesn’t get you anywhere. I’m empathetic (to a fault sometimes) and I have no trouble putting myself in someone else’s shoes. I’ve been hurt because of my nature, but living with hate and grudges is worse for me. I’d rather move on.

I love many and hate a few
I don’t typically hold grudges but I’ve met some real monsters in my life — people who brought on my schizophrenia

However it leaves me with very little faith in decently of the world

A little respect and kindness goes a VERY long way

I am guilty of holding grudges.

But since my AP+AD regime is in a good place, I am much less bothered by, much of anything

Very level headed

Probably I lack grudges these days as I have less contact with other people

I don’t hold grudges, your only hurting yourself. Why use all that energy to be mad when you could turn that energy into something positive for yourself.

There’s one person I don’t like. I don’t really know what a grudge is. But my attitude towards them is that they mean nothing to me.

I hold some grudges. And for some people i always will.

And no it doesnt hurt me. It just reminds me not too stoop to their disgusting level again.

I held grudges against a strict catholic Filipino family that ran the board and care i lived in. They were vile. I found out not long ago those sisters are dead.

My grudge is gone now.

I do admit to the occasional grudge. Nothing worse than someone who drinks out of the milk carton and then puts it back in the fridge, right @Nomad?

I try not to hold grudges. I try to forgive, but forgiving doesen’t mean you accept what happened, it just means you don’t bother yourself thinking about it anymore. Forgiveness is mostly for yourself.
