At first it was delusional disorder
Then it was paranoid schizophrenia
Then it was schizoaffective
Then as a bonus
Major depression
Extreme anxiety
and now
I am certain I have ADHD.
Nope I think I have cognitive and concentration problems, but its not ADHD. I think the problems stem from my schizophrenia.
The normies at the AA meeting last night, especially this one lady who was probably 45 years old…she was very intelligent…like i was super impressed by how smart she is. But man she was reading the book and every single sentence we read she had insight on that sentence and feedback. I can’t do that, my mind drifts elsewhere no matter how hard I try.
Go easy on yourself Karl, even if you do have these ailments, try not to over-diagnose yourself.
I have like EVERY mental disorder there is, but I’ve narrowed it down to Schizo-affective as my primary and PTSD as my secondary diagnosis.
Yeah I have anxiety and stuff but that goes along with the territory of these other ailments i have too so i don’t tell people and list all the diagnoses i am even if i do indeed have them.
The worst part about schizoaffective is it doesn’t stop with psychosis and mood, theres also anxiety, ocd, co-occuring disorders sooooo often in these illnesses. We pretty much have every mental illness, but schizo-affective about sums it up pretty well i think.
