In May in Belgium we get ‘holiday money’ on top of our disability to be able to go on holiday during the summer.
I just received a letter that I’ll get over 700€ extra.
Does this also exist in other countries?

I had to lol when I read that.
No, not here in Australia, its more likely the prices for goods and services go up and we get a pension cut instead.

We’re a notoriously big Government country. Lots of taxes but also a lot of support.
Some people like it. Some people hate it.
It is what it is.
(I used to hate it when I was in a high paying career and saw how many taxes I had to pay. Now that I’m on the receiving end I don’t mind. And if I ever get a high salary again I wouldn’t mind paying a lot of taxes. I now understand what it is used for).
some countries don’t forward social welfare payments or benefits
Europe seems ok atm
