Do you find that your antidepressant seems to stop working over time? I’m on Trintellix 20 mg and I can’t go up anymore, but it feels like it’s not doing a great job anymore. Obviously I need to talk to my pdoc about this, but I thought I would ask about it on here. Do you think constantly switching antidepressants is a bad idea? Also, does anyone have any recommendations for weight neutral antidepressants?

It’s a very common problem with AD medication, it’s called “poop out” (google it)
I have been through a lot of ad’s and ended up with a MOA inhibitor (Isocarboxasid / marplan) the antidepressive effect has “pooped out” but i still got a tremendous relieve from anxiety from the drug and now i don’t want to change it again.
