Do you feel stable most of the time

Until about two years ago, I have had to change medicine almost every three months. I have been stable from June 2017 until June 2019 when I started having symptoms again. It makes me mad (and scared) I just can’t be well forever. I’ve been pretty bad since June. I start new medicine next Wednesday.

How often do you relapse or have to up or change medicine.

I’ve been stable for well over a decade. I still get the odd breakthroughs but I do ok. Been on the same doses and meds for that long and take them same time every day. Routine works for me but I have found that symptoms are cyclic. I always get months like spring as worse than others. Weird how it works like that.

I have been through 6 meds and it was a painful experience riddled with relapses.

I have not had a serious relapse for about a year. I have had three wobbles but that was triggered by work stress this year

I hope you find a good combo, it takes a while of trial and error. One dear friend of mine has been on Zyprexa for 20 years then he had a relapse, he is now on Seroquil for 15 years and no relapse yet… So it’s just something that varies from person to person. I relapse every week or so, honestly, @rileyk86 I’m tired. But this isn’t about me. Wish you luck…

No, I dont. 15151515

I’ve been stable for like…6 months I think? I have a bit of paranoia and delusions but my doctor thinks it is stemming from CPTSD. So I stopped my antipsychotic with the discretion of my doctor. We’re still tracking our prognosis.

I haven’t relapsed since the Spring of 2015. That’s when I was last hospitalized anyway. I’ve been in remission since 2016.
