Do you carry any meds with you?

Everyday when I get up, I take my morning medication, and then I get the rest of my days medication and put it in an old med bottle. I carry it in my pocket, so that just in case I can’t get to my medication at home, I at least have the rest of my days medication. It also allows me to know if I have missed taking any meds. I have done this everyday for years. Just curious if anybody else carries meds on them.

Where I live the police are allowed to stop and search anyone they want. I am a bit reluctant to carry prescription meds in case they think I am a dealer or something.

Ps I am on no scheduled drugs like benzos but I worry all the same

I keep about three days worth stashed in my vehicle and I have a reminder set in my calendar to rotate it out once a month so I’m not expiring my meds. Also have a small pouch in my wallet that holds two days worth that I rotate at the same time I do the one in my van. Just had to add the heart meds to the stash. (Sigh.)

I used to carry my meds on me, in a pill bottle - but this was when I was working.

Today, I am mainly Home so I dont really carry my meds with me.

Where I live if you have benzos on you and they aren’t in the prescription bottle then you’ll get arrested and later have to prove they were prescribed to you by a doctor. Any med that can be considered a narcotic or anything like pain pills you can’t carry lose pills on you or you’ll go to jail. I’m in USA

I have carried my meds with me for over a decade. Once I had a police officer go through my pockets and he found them. I just told him I had schizophrenia, and they were my daily meds. I guess that was good enough, because he did not ask anymore questions about them. I have never worried about keeping my pills in my pocket, even with valium in the mix, because I know I have all the prescriptions at home, plus one call to my doc would clear it all up. I live in the USA as well. I am glad to hear others are as serious about there medications as me.

I only need to take my prescriptions as soon as I wake up so I don’t carry them with me.

But I do sometimes take valium with me depending on how I’m feeling in the morning and what I have to do during the day.

I’ve never even thought about being stopped by a police officer and checked for medicine.

I keep a bottle of xanax and wellbutrin in my car. If I am going out for dinner and not coming straight home I carry one geodon and one Latuda in a sandwich bag in my back pocket, my wife tells me I shouldn’t carry my meds like that but I have an app on my phone that says what prescriptions I have and how many days of supply I have on hand if the cops ever give me any trouble

I watch the tv show “cops” a lot, and they always seem to catch someone who has meds in a bottle, and if they can’t provide a prescription they go to jail.

I keep a small bottle with me of clonazepam for a prn.

no need. the only reason i ever go out is if im out of food or drink, which is usually just a moment out of my day

I keep two days worth (for a weekend) in a pill case in my purse. I have thought about getting arrested. I’m not on anything considered a street drug.

@TomCat What is the app that you use? (My iphone 4 won’t let me download any apps.)

My pharmacy is a mail order pharmacy called express scripts. They have an app you can download, its through my insurance. I am a retired military member. One of the functions is medicine cabinet and it shows you how many days of meds you have left out of 90. You can verify shipping information and order refills too. I think Medicare uses Express Scripts too but I am not sure.
