Do we bother to explain?

That we are the way we are because we weren’t wanted.

It might be the other way round. We weren’t wanted because of the way we were.

I’m referring to a child being unwanted by the parents. Because children are a lot of work - which is no fault of the child’s.

You gonna drink that milk @PinCushion?

Nope. It’s only a picture.

I might explain online when I am venting, but not to people in person. In my experience there is often an almost immediate understanding between people who have experienced the same, spoken or not. People who haven’t experienced the same usually can’t grasp it at all, and are more likely to say ridiculous ■■■■ to you (even though they might mean well).
