The brain can recover and change from the most absurd amount of damage.
Dont ever underestimate the brains ability to heal.
Yeah physically it’s probably pretty soon but psychological is another cup of tea for those addicted.
Well, IDK. But there’s one thing anybody can do to stop the damage from getting worse.
I’ve done a fair bit of research regarding the brain. It is possible to recover from a certain amount of damage…it really depends what part of the brain is damaged and how extensive. Still, never lose hope. Some amazing people out there with various different brain ailments have managed to overcome some pretty big obstacles. Never lose hope.
I’ve not fully healed from seizures, though. Yes, I have never had a stroke, but my non-epileptic seizures drained me so much that it took a year (or even longer, which is now) to heal from the physical damage.
But brain is different. I don’t feel like I’ve slowed down at all due to seizures. Maybe because it’s nonepileptic. However, physically, I sometimes feel tremors because of seizures.
