Yeah no shite! Most of our good meat and seafood we export to Asia. It’s absolute rubbish but that is how they make money. Meanwhile we pay big prices for mediocre products. Seems it’s the same over many economies these days Nick…welcome to the modern world and trickle down economics!

haah I think New Zealand it’s true. Over here we have more sheep but more people so I’m not sure if that is accurate. I did go to a wedding in outback Australia one year a long time ago and gawdamn the amount of sheep we saw was off the hook. You may be right haha.

It’s true isn’t it? We get stuck with the second rate products.
I’ve taken to shopping for meat at the queen vic market for good quality stuff at good prices. But I know qld is lacking something similar.

Yeah @anon84763962 we have been getting good meat at a decent price from Costco. The big american chain warehouse store. It really is hard because the stuff in super markets isn’t the best but it’s at a big price!
