lol, yeah most of the time it’s kinda frustrating to try to explain schizophrenia to a new person who haves no knowledge of the illness.
I personally know it is possible to date someone and have sz. I think it helps if they make the first move and ask you out on a date because it means they’re already attracted to you and already like something about you.

Best thing to do is not to look for a relationship until you teach the point where you can truly benefit someone else.
Just simply tell them you struggle with anxiety and depression. That’s basically what sz is that has been blown to extreme proportions.

Yeah you’re right, people seems to think that schizophrenia is a bunch of craziness while everyone who suffers from it have different and unique symptoms.
I’ll tag you in a thread on what I’m dealing with these days.
