Do APs make you feel 'normal?'

I feel more normal, I think. I’m more capable of working and I can go to festivals now without my delusions eating me away.

Same here. Really badly. Everybody always asks why I’m so shaky and I just vaguely tell them that my “medicine does that”. Most people don’t ask what medicine.

I’m on 4.75mg risperidone and I just sit in my parents house all day on disability dreading the day I have to go back to work. I’m scared to drive my car but I’m going to soon.

With Asperger’s thrown into the mix the answer is no. It just means any mild(?) mental health symptoms are better controlled.

My Zyprexa has me feeling normal. It’s a nice change from being extremely paranoid all the time. I am looking to get back to work now and off disability. I feel so good. I have no positive symptoms, even breakthrough hallucinations like I used to get on Haldol. Everything is just totally controlled now.
