i know apathy,amotivation ,avoltion are negative symptoms of schizo.but i want to know whether antispychotics induce apathy and amotivation in people.is ther any cases?
I would say so, at least for me. The med’s can affect people differently, but I think it does that for the majority.
For me lack of drive and motivation are long term issues that were present before I was taking APs regularly via depot. I don’t think being on an AP far more regularly has made much difference on that score.
