Did anyone start isolating about 3 years before their initial diagnosis?

Yea me 3yrs before my diagnosis but its the sz that caused it and not the opposite.

Not really. I was working and had at least 1 friend that I would see on the weekend.

I still struggle with isolating. No I didn’t isolate three years before my diagnosis, but I isolated like 3 months before my diagnosis.

I really socially isolated like a year or so before my first episode. Went to school but stopped talking to everyone just walked past them in the halls, sat in front row of class so everyone was behind me, went home at lunch and directly home after school.

I vacillate between wanting to be social and wanting to isolate.

I was pretty social up until about sophomore year of high school, then I started rejecting phone calls from friends and hanging out.

I dunno if it’s due to some bipolar aspect that I’m just now uncovering, but I definitely isolate a lot since being diagnosed.
