Mine seems to be elevated in the morning when I wake up. Is there anything you can do to keep it down?

Yes, try eating 1 piece of brown bread before going to bed.

I use to have the same problem. a diabetic dietitian told me that trick. I hope it works for you.
I’ve lost a lot of weight so I don’t have that problem anymore thankfully.
