Well i was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia but the psychiatrist used to say this and nothing about the depression and anxiety why is this?

You might want to bring up the fact that you feel you are suffering with depression. Your Psychiatrist may not be recognizing the signs in you. He may be confusing it with negatives. It’s important to bring it up so you can get proper treatment right away. Depression can be serious, especially for us.

I am getting treated for severe depression but I don’t have schizophrenia.

It’s common for SZ patients to suffer from depression and anxiety.
