This is just my opinion, if you say your delusional your probably not delusional. If you have insight into the delusion that it’s not real your not delusional. If you think something is real and no matter what anyone else says to the contrary then you might be delusional.

Sorry mate, but you’re only partially right, some of us are able to admit when our beliefs are strange and could be deemed delusion.
I can tell you I believe I’m an angel, and that may be delusion, doesn’t change the fact I believe it just because I’m of two minds about it.
Being able to hold two opposing thoughts in your head and debate the articles of both sides is a sign of intelligence, Not false delusion

The opinion of numerous doctors I’ve had is that I suffer from delusional thinking, but have been treated successfully enough to have gained insight into the delusions and reached a stage where they are well-managed. So much so that I not only pass as a neurotypical, but I can meet or exceed their thresholds for professional function (personal function is another matter).

So when I had my second relapse and was of two minds I thought gosh I really need to do wat he says or I go to hell or gosh is this really true…

Yeah what you’re describing is actually part of schizophrenia. Sz makes you realize our brains are much less in our control than we think. I can know that I’m on LSD that doesn’t change the fact that I’m tripping (I’m not on LSD nor am I condoning it). I know telepathy isn’t real but I have a delusion that it is which affects everything I do. It’s like wearing pink sunglasses, the whole world is seen through a filter. And you can’t take the sunglasses off. And there’s a smudge on the lens. And it looks like…an alien.
